First Post

So this is my first post on this blog. I love reading couponing blog and I know that many (if not all of the ones I read) are written by moms who are trying to live a fabulessly frugal life style. I have yet to come across a blog that has been written by a college student... and we all know that college students are tight on money. I know that I sometimes am! I am currently a senior in college and will be making my way over to graduate school in the fall. My family has recently gotten into couponing and has shared this wonderful little "secret" with me. I was told about the couponing high you would get after your first couponing transaction ever and I was a bit skeptical about whether or not I would get it... and sure enough after that first trip I had to Walgreens I was hooked! I think couponing is a fabulous thing especially for college kids and while I admit that it may take some time there are many wonderful coupon blogs out there that find the deals and post about them... so all you have to do is clip your coupons and head to the store. And I know many will think that being in college you won't have time to do this but many of us live around campus and are within walking distance to many of the best stores. I live a 3 min walk away from both Walgreens and Safeway. I have saved so much money since I have started couponing. I now find myself resisting from making impulse purchases and running out to the store for something such as toothpaste. Though some people may think it's ridiculous that I have so many boxed of toothpaste and cereal... I find that I'm the winner in the end because I was able to get these things for dirt cheap if not free. Hey I've even gotten my boyfriend a lot of the things he uses daily for free. Couponing has become one of the things I enjoy doing and though I do get coupon burn out I still have the thrill of finding a good deal. So thanks for checking out my blog and I hope you enjoy!
